Walk & Talk: Rural and Wildlife Crime, near Coulter

Members are invited to attend this event designed to bring awareness to the detailed and fantastic work Police Scotland are doing with the ongoing increase of rural crime. This event will feature numerous presentations from key organisations sharing prevention methods, information about ongoing activities to reduce crime and all aspects and areas where landowners/land managers may be vulnerable.

We also hope to increase the number of crimes being reported and in turn provide more resources, as well as identify commonalities that can be brought forward in the hopes of reducing opportunities for rural and wildlife crime.

This event will be hosted by Jon McCosh of Kingsbeck Estate, with additional contributors from Police Scotland, Neighbourhood Watch Scotland, Scottish Business Resilience Centre.

Scottish Land & Estates colleagues will also be in attendance - Nic MacLeod, South West (Clydeside) Regional Support Officer; Laura Warrender, Clydeside Chair; and Simon Ovenden, Policy Advisor (Access and Visitor Management).

This event is free of charge to SLE Members, but booking is essential through the SLE website.
