Sarah joined Scottish Land & Estates in October 2021. She is a graduate of the University of Stirling with a BA (Hons) in History and Politics and MSc in Human Rights and Diplomacy, delivered by the UN Institute of Training and Research. Sarah previously worked for parliamentarians in both the Scottish and Westminster Parliaments, having most recently worked for Hannah Bardell MP as a caseworker and managing a variety of projects including redundancy, planning and crisis response projects.

In her spare time, Sarah enjoys attending football and music events, strength training, cooking, and plays rugby every week with her local club Livingston RFC. She especially enjoys the Scottish countryside and fresh air at every opportunity with her English Springer Spaniel (and best friend) Gerry.

 

If you were a Scottish animal, which would you be and why?
A Scottish Wildcat because they are athletic, also enjoy the woodland, time alone and a varied diet.

What do few people know about you? 
I moved to Australia when I was seventeen and attended the University of Newcastle for a year.

Which three words best describe your outlook on life?
Pet every dog.

Where would you live if not Scotland? 
The Netherlands for its architecture and history, or New Zealand for its landscape and wine…
