Katy joined the team in 2014 as a Policy Officer and was promoted to Senior Policy Officer in 2016, before becoming Head of Policy in 2018. Katy spends the majority of her time working on housing policy and initiatives but also covers topics such as planning, crofting, rates and tourism. Katy comes from East Lothian and studied Geography at St Andrews University before completing the Masters in Land Economy at Aberdeen University. Prior to joining Scottish Land & Estates Katy worked as a Land Agent in Perth where she qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 2011.
