Aberdeenshire Rural Housing Project
Salary £25,000 (30 hours per week)

The Rural Housing Service is seeking an experienced project manager to work with rural and housing stakeholders in Aberdeenshire to facilitate the development of affordable housing.
The post involves investigating new approaches to rural housing development, assessing the feasibility of alternative funding and tenures for new projects, creating development partnerships and managing the delivery of affordable rural housing.
The post is funded for one year with the potential for this to be extended. The office base for the post is flexible, with co-location with project partners listed below, or home working from base in (or close to) Aberdeenshire both possible.
The postholder will be employed by the Rural Housing Service and line managed by our Chief Executive. To ensure the strategic direction of the project, support and liaison will also be provided by Strategic Development staff at Aberdeenshire Council. The Project is advised by a Project Advisory Group comprising funders and housing stakeholders in Aberdeenshire.
