Newtyle Fishings, which extends one and a quarter miles along the Tay, has been billed as an attractive salmon fishing area by estate agents.
The area originally formed part of Murthly and Atholl estates in the area.
Estate agents CKD Galbraith said the beat produces an annual average catch of 135 fish over its 14 named pools.
William Jackson, the agent handling the sale, said: "It is only very rarely that a beat of salmon fishing is offered for sale on the river Tay and Newtyle is an absolute gem.
"It is extremely private, beautifully maintained and is likely to attract significant interest."
