Protection of Wild Mammals in Scotland Consultation

SLE has responded to the consultation on Improving the Protection of Wild Mammals in Scotland.  The consultation is as a result of the Bonomy Review. 

We have raised serious concerns about exploring a new vicarious liability provision for landowners in relation to actions by someone involved in a hunt and have also opposed extending the time limit for prosecution and amending the burden of proof.
