Launch of Galloway National Park Association Discussions Document

Galloway National Park Association launched its discussions document and leaflet this week, with a special event at the Galloway Activity Centre in Loch Ken. The launch marks the start of an ambitious community engagement process running through the end of spring 2018.

The Association was formed in May 2017 and has been researching what National Parks are, how they work and what a National Park could do for Galloway. The discussion document summarises the work done so far.

The Association are keen to engage with SLE members to seek views on the proposal.
