The Scotia Winch Challenge is looking for a new home.

The Scotia Winch Challenge (the UKs premier off-road driving competition) is currently looking for a new home.
Due to the owners of their current site starting major timber harvesting operations they had to cancel last year’s competition and as they have not as yet secured a new venue they will not be holding the event this year.
They are looking for a substantial piece of ground this is very rough with rocky crags, deep gully’s, scrub and hopefully trees as well.
Their branch of off road motor sport is like an orientating competition for vehicles with the punches located such that the vehicles have to use their on board winches to reach the punch.
Any tracks or roads that are used by marshals or competitors are always limited to a maximum of 15 miles per hour to ensure the safety of others and to ensure that there is no damage to the surface.
The event is run under a MSA (Motor Sports Association) permit which provides them with a full package of insurance.
Their event will bring increase in revenue for both yourselves, the local shops, filling stations and hotels over the weekend.
