Scotland’s Biosphere’s celebrated in Parliament

Scottish Land & Estates attended a Parliamentary Reception on Tuesday evening which celebrated and raised awareness of Scotland’s two Biosphere Reserves.  The first, Galloway and Southern Ayrshire Biosphere has been operation for a few years now and is making good progress, including the development of a land managers’ group aimed at, amongst other things, developing branding and marketing materials for food and drink produced in the area.  Scotland’s newest Biosphere is in Wester Ross and the event heard from it’s Project Manager on planned developments.
