Delivery Group meetings note

I am writing to follow up on the three LDP ‘Delivery Group’ meetings held with stakeholders in October and November 2016, and to thank you for your involvement in the LDP process to date. The three meetings focussed on Housing Delivery, Rural Issues and Business and Industry.

We promised that we would distribute a note of the meetings, which is now attached - and I apologise for the delay in distributing this. The note has been produced by Nick Wright, who was the independent facilitator at the meetings.

The participant feedback from the meetings was highly positive, with almost all responses indicating that they found the meetings useful and informative, with sufficient opportunities to express views.  From our point of view, the three meetings produced a range of valuable comments and suggestions, which are being used to help draw up the Council’s Main Issues Report (MIR) for LDP2, along with feedback from the community consultation ‘open evenings’ run during November to January. The MIR will be published later this summer.

If you have any queries regarding this, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Yours sincerely,

James Hall
