Rise in farm payment euro rate

The Scottish Government has confirmed that the exchange rate to be used for the 2011 Single Farm Payment Scheme is 1 euro = 0.8665 pounds. The exchange rate to be used was set on Friday 30 September by the European Central Bank and has risen when compared with last year. The rate used in 2010 was 0.85995 pounds: the 2011 rate, therefore, represents an increase of + 0.8 per cent.
