European Landowners’ meet to discuss future farm support

Senior Policy Officer (Land Use & Environment), Anne Gray has been in Brussels this week discussing, with other European Landowners’ representatives, the future of agricultural funding support.

It is not just in the UK that support for farmers and the countryside in being rethought.  The CAP is likely to see change considerably after 2020.  Working through the European Landowners’ Organisation, we are able to keep up to date with these changes and this will influence our work with Scottish and UK governments, the aiming being to ensure enough common ground is maintained in approaches to support to making future trading relationships feasible.
