CNPA Developer Forum & Delivery Group

Scottish Land & Estates was present for the Cairngorms National Park Authority (CNPA) Developer Forum and Delivery Group meetings this week. At the Developer Forum discussions centred around the delivery of housing within the park and the need to recognise demand for mid-market housing rather than just affordable housing. There were also some views expressed on the People, Places and Planning consultation.

The Delivery Group talked about the proposals for the final Partnership Plan following collation of the consultation responses. The final plan is expected to go before the CNPA board on 7 April 2017 and then it will be submitted to Scottish Ministers for approval. Scottish Land & Estates expects to see a draft version of the final plan in the coming weeks.
