The future of housing in Scotland

This week, Scottish Land & Estates attended a Scottish Policy seminar on the future of housing in Scotland. Delivery, demand and the impact of policy were key issues under discussion. There was broad consensus that the Scottish Government’s aim of 50,000 new homes by the end of the Parliament was a welcome increase but that it was not enough. Concerns were also raised that the £3 billion set aside to complete these homes would not be enough.
