Crofting Stakeholders Meeting and Chair Departure

Scottish Land & Estates attended the Crofting Stakeholder’s meeting in Inverness earlier this week.  Progress is being made on preparing a report to present to ministers regarding the future for the sector. At the meeting Catriona Maclean, chief executive of the Crofting Commission, announced she was leaving to take up a promotion within the Scottish Government. She will take up the position of deputy director of the Food, Drink and Communities division next month.
