Atlas of Living Scotland

The Atlas of Living Scotland, a new online resource has been launched today and can be found here...  The Atlas is all about Citizen Science.  It enables anyone with sitings of any species of plant or animal to record it to a location.  The work can be comprehensive or merely a one off siting.  It will help everyone to become involved with recording Scotland’s rich biodiversity and, although less scientifically robust than formal studies, nevertheless this type of approach can reveal some surprising useful trends.
