Labour's Ken Macintosh elected as Presiding Officer

Labour MSP Ken Macintosh has been elected as the new Presiding Officer for the new term of the Scottish Parliament. As part of this role, Mr Macintosh has been required to renounce his party affiliation. SNP MSPs Christine Grahame and Linda Fabiani have been elected as Deputy Presiding Officers’, however they still retain their party allegiances.
