Scottish Labour propose new skills body in Scotland

Scottish Labour leader Kezia Dugdale has announced plans to set up a new agency for employment and skills to help people get into work. This will be introduced in a Work and Trade Union Bill, establishing Skills Scotland. The agency would bring together existing bodies Skills Development Scotland and Scottish Enterprise with new powers over the Work Programme coming to the Scottish Parliament.
