AECS approval/rejection letters

There has been a delay with sending out the AECS approval and rejection letters for the 2015 scheme.

The government says that this has partly been due to the complexity of the new CAP reforms, the extended application window, and their subsequent impact on our normal procedures and processing times.  However it also reflects the need to clear their final approach on some aspects with Ministers.

Officials say that they know how keen applicants will be to find out if their applications were successful and with a new AECS round due to open shortly it is even more important to inform people as soon as possible of the outcome of their 2015 application. They promise action as soon as they can to update applicants on the success of their applications.
