Scottish Elm in the 21st Century

The University of the Highlands and Islands Inverness College is currently doing a small research project on Elm in Scotland and more specifically the Highlands, exploring the spatial extent of the species and limits of Dutch Elm Disease. The study will also address elm's landscape significance and minor role as a milling and timber species. Members’ who have an interest are encouraged to help the University with their project Scottish Elm in the 21st Century.
