Rural Crime Statistics

NFU Mutual has published claims data this week which show rural crime related claims in the UK dropped 17% from £44.5 million in 2013 to £37.8 million in 2014. However, equine crimes increased by 25%. The most common crimes were vehicle and livestock theft. Tools and quad bikes were the most commonly taken items.
