Parliament calls for objections to Pentland Hills Park extension

 

The Pentland Hills Regional Park Boundary Bill (PHRPBB) Committee is calling for objections to the proposed Park boundary extension to be submitted by the 28th September.  The Bill has been brought forward by Christine Grahame, MSP and seeks to move the boundary southwards, taking in parts of Scottish Borders and South Lanarkshire council areas.  The PHRPBB Committee has been set up specifically to scrutinise the Bill.  The Committee’s details can be found at http://www.scottish.parliament.uk/parliamentarybusiness/CurrentCommittees/90651.aspx.  The notice calling for objections is available here... and the full Bill and area map is available at http://www.scottish.parliament.uk/parliamentarybusiness/Bills/88710.aspx.  Members affected by the extension are urged to make their views on the proposed boundary extension known to the Committee.  Scottish Land & Estates will also be responding to the Committee and South-East Regional Manager, Rachael Wright would be keen to speak to members and/or receive copies of their submissions in order to shape our response email: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
