Have your say on environmental conservation vocational qualifications

Lantra are working with SQA to review the SVQ’s level 2 and 3 in Environmental Conservation, to reflect the recent changes to the National Occupational Standards to ensure new entrants have the right skills and knowledge for their jobs.
As part of its work with the Scottish Qualifications Authority on reviewing the SVQs, Lantra has already gathered initial feedback from employers and training providers, and is now looking for wider comments on potential changes to the structure and content of the qualifications.

SVQs are competence-based qualifications which will help to ensure trainees have the skills and knowledge they need for their jobs.

The updated qualifications may also be incorporated in a new ‘rural skills’ Modern Apprenticeship framework in Scotland

The survey should take less than 15 minutes to complete and will be available until 10th July at www.consult-on.com
