Agricultural Crime

Scottish Land & Estates is part of a Working Group reviewing prosecution policy relating to agricultural crime.  Members views are sought to assist in shaping the new policy.  Please contact Jason Rust with any experiences or impact from agricultural crime.

The Crown Office are keen to understand the impact of agricultural crime and consider improvements to prosecution.  What are the main types of agricultural crime you face; what are your views on how the legal system operates in terms of agricultural crime? Evidenced or anecdotal information are both welcome and information supplied will be treated on an anonymous basis, unless consent is otherwise given.
