No slurry spreading on frozen or snow covered ground

SEPA is reminding farmers that they should not be spreading slurry on frozen or snow covered ground.    As the weather was good going into the winter 2014 there should be little pressure on those people who have 6 months storage.  Farmers are asked to follow their Farm Waste Management Plan and use contingency storage if needed.  For full details go to   http://www.scotland.gov.uk/Publications/2005/03/20879/54891#7
