Helping It Happen Website Launch

Back in November Scottish Land & Estates launched ‘Helping it Happen’ - a campaign to highlight how landowners and rural businesses across Scotland play a key role in enabling and supporting success in rural areas.

Our “Helping it Happen” campaign has been further enhanced today with the launch of the new Helping it Happen website.  This functional website is not only designed to offer quick and easy access to case studies highlighting ways in which landowners are delivering a wide range of projects and working with others to help things happen across Scotland  but also offers the facility for you to easily create and publish these projects online. The website is designed to share good practice and encourage even more activity of this nature across Scotland.

Historically during the course of the year we produced many case studies promoting the work and partnerships created by our members. These were displayed at various events we attend and often used when engaging MSPs as well as being handed out at shows and conferences. The creation of the Helping it Happen website means these positive stories will now be available all year round for all to access. There are more developments for the website planned in the coming months when the database of case studies expands; they will be arranged in a variety of categories to enable viewers to find samples in a specific area of interest or locality and will also have the facility to host short video and audio clips to accompany the case studies.

Helping it Happen summarises exactly how estates businesses are involved in projects large and small across Scotland, and will hopefully encourage more activity of this kind. Contact us through the website and tell us about your project or contact your regional manager who will guide you through the simple process.
