The Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA) has launched an improved Land Information Search service.

The Land Information Search (LIS) is a map-based tool that lets anyone search for data relating to an area of land or a feature that they have identified.

New features include:

  • Searching with a line feature
  • Saving digitised features for future searches
  • Sequenced highlighting of buttons to guide users

SEPA hope that applicants to the next Scotland Rural Development Programme will find these additional features useful.

Members are encouraged to explore the system in order to understand the sorts of information it holds.
