Prince's Charity Calls for Communities to be considered to Boost New Housing

The Prince’s Foundation for Building Community has published a report calling for policy makers, developers and architects to take account of what communities want in terms of new housing in order to overcome oppositions to new developments and tackle the housing shortages. The report ‘Housing Communities: What People Want’ stresses that communities were against rapid, inappropriately scaled and designed developments and preferred street based housing which boasted green spaces and local identity.
