New addition to biomass heat specialist team

In response to the growing number of commercial biomass customers in the Central Belt and south of Scotland, Paul Cairns has joined biomass specialist hwenergy as Senior Commercial Projects and Account Manager, based in the company’s Belshill office.
Formerly Commercial Sales Manager at VGEnergy and National Channel Manager at British Gas Paul brings with him a strong track record in the energy sector and has a particular interest in biomass. Cairns said “I wanted to work for a company with solid experience in delivering complex biomass heating systems and with the design knowledge and service network to support any contract; the fact that hwenergy has been specialising in biomass for such a long time and has such in depth knowledge really appealed to me as a good base to work from. As more commercial organisations realise the benefits of biomass I’m looking forward to expanding the client base even further.”
hwenergy specialises in the design, installation and servicing of commercial biomass heating systems as well as full Heat Supply contracts.  Their clients include the Carnegie Club at Skibo Castle, Strathallan School, Meikleour Estate, Bordlands Estate, Kincardine Castle, as well as many smaller farms.
The company won ‘Best Renewable Project of the Year’ in the 2014 Heating and Ventilation News Awards for their work with NHS Ayrshire and Arran.
