This year marked the 150th anniversary of the Turriff Show – the premier north-east agricultural event and the largest two day event of its kind in the country. To mark the anniversary, the Show received a Royal accolade when Her Majesty the Queen arrived by helicopter from Balmoral to tour the showground and meet some of the local stands.
As in previous years, the Scottish Land & Estates trailer was in attendance with staff and committee members on hand to welcome members and visitors to the stand.
Brian Pack visited the stand after handing over his ‘Doing Better Initiative to Reduce Red Tape for Farmers and Rural Land Managers’ report, more commonly known as the ‘red tape report’ to Cabinet Secretary for Rural Affairs and Food, Richard Lochhead.
In addition, the stand also welcomed Nanette Milne MSP for North East Scotland and Christian Allard MSP for the North East Scotland.
