Is it not a dream for all foresters to one day damage their own woods?

alt

This was the view of one of the attendees to the Woodlots Walk & Talk event which took place at Corsewall Estate, Stranraer on Tuesday 15 July.  The key people involved were in attendance at the event - Angus Carrick Buchanan, landowner, Mark Rowe, licence holder and Scottish Woodlots Association.

Attendees openly discussed and asked questions in relation to the Woodlot concept and much interest was expressed in a licence which can bring under-managed woodland back into management whilst providing economic activity and income for both the landowner and licence holder.
