Highland Biomass company expands to Central Belt

Commercial biomass heat specialist HWEnergy has opened a new office in Bellshill, North Lanarkshire as part of a drive to support the company’s growing number of contracts in the Central Belt and south Scotland. The office opened earlier this month.
Based in Fort William, HWEnergy has worked across Scotland and the north of England for some years facilitated by their extensive network of biomass engineers, but with a growing number of clients in the Central Belt the company felt the time was right to expand its physical premises.
Bruno Berardelli, MD said “As well as our traditional services of design, build, install, maintenance and fuel supply, we are now seeing a marked increase in the demand for our Heat Supply service whereby we provide heat at a fixed cost supported by performance guarantees. The new premises mean we are now on the doorstep for a large number of our clients.”
HWEnergy has designed, built and installed over 250 commercial biomass heating systems and supports some 300 projects nationwide through its service, maintenance and heat supply team. Recent projects in the Central Belt have included Sky’s contact centre at Livingston and Scottish Water at Stepps. They are also working with a number of Housing Associations and Local Authorities through the Public Sector Frameworks for Biomass and for Pellet supply.
