“The Department of Energy and Climate Change has published its latest statistics on the Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI). As a result there is to be no reduction in non-domestic RHI tariffs from 1st April. The next set of stats will be published in 1 June 2014.
It was thought that the tariff for small scale (<200kW) biomass would be reduced because it has exceeded its allocated budget by around £8m, however the overall RHI scheme has achieved less than 50% of its projected expenditure therefore no cut will be applied to any technology at any size this time around.
