Illegal dumping of oil drums - Appeal for information

SEPA is appealing for information on the illegal dumping of oil drums between the A9 and Tibbermore on the outskirts of Perth. SEPA officers attended the site on 31 January 2014 following a report of fly tipping. They discovered approximately 90 drums of what appears to be cooking oil, dumped in a verge along the side of the road. The majority of oil drums were contained within red and blue cardboard boxes marked "KTC Cooking Oil", while the remaining oil drums were metallic, silver in colour and marked "Brakes".

We would like to encourage anyone who might have noticed suspicious activities in the area, or business owners that recognise the description of the oil drums, to call our Perth Office on 01738 627989 or the Crimestoppers hotline on 0800 555 111.
