Young Scot Award Nominations

Young Scot, the national youth information and citizenship agency for Scotland has launched its search for this year’s Sunday Mail Young Scot Awards. The awards celebrate the achievements for Scotland’s amazing young people aged 11-26 years. There are 11 different categories from Community, Sports and The Arts to Heritage and Unsung Hero, in which you can nominate

Do you work with young people or know a young person who is passionate about making a change?

Do they work hard and strive to make a difference to improve the lives of others or their local community?

If you know a young person who you believe deserves recognised and to be celebrated for the work they do, nominate them for a Sunday Mail Young Scot Award by the deadline of 18th February 2014.

Every young person who is nominated will receive a certificate. To nominate, go to:  www.youngscotawards.co.uk, choose a relevant category and give an explanation why your nominee deserves to be recognised (no more than 250 words). Nominations close on the 18th February. Each category will have three finalists who will attend the VIP awards ceremony at the Crowne Plaza and Glasgow SECC on April 10th.

If you have questions, please get in touch with Hannah Clarke, Communications Assistant at Young Scot.
