Scottish Land & Estates Considers CAP Budget

Scottish Land & Estates has welcomed the European Commission’s announcement that it plans to preserve in cash terms the EU budget for farmers and land managers.

Although the Commission's proposal represents a modest reduction in real terms over the seven-year period of the next CAP budget, it is as good an outcome as could have been expected.

Scottish Land & Estates Chairman, Luke Borwick, commented:
