Response to Historic Environment consultation

The organisation has this week submitted comments to the Scottish Government on the Historic Environment (Amendment) (Scotland) Act 2011 draft regulations consultation. Many of the concerns raised by Scottish Land & Estates during the passage of the Bill related to the impact of the Act on land management practices rather than the technical detail and are therefore related more to the implementation of the legislation, rather than the drafting of the secondary legislation. However, we do have a few points to raise in relation to the draft regulations.
