FREE deer stalking awareness signs - offer still open

alt

Over the last year or so CNPA has been offering deer stalking awareness signs (developed in conjunction with Cairngorms Deer Advisory Group) to land managers across the National Park, with the aim of raising awareness of the importance of deer management practice and promoting responsible access amongst hillwalkers and other recreational users. The standard signage templates can be tailored to the requirements of individual Estates and are ideally located at popular points of access, replacing any existing outdated signage.

An example of the sign for Invercauld Estate is attached along with more information about the signs.

To date there has been good uptake of the signs with 29 signs produced for use on 6 different Estates and a further 5 Estates with signs in production. At present we can still offer the signs FREE OF CHARGE, and with the next stalking season fast approaching we would encourage any others interested to get in touch by the end of July.
