Skills and Training in Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park

Building on the success of the National Park Apprenticeship Scheme for the construction industry, the Community Partnership of Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park is taking forward an exciting new project to focus on employment, enterprise and skills opportunities in the key land-based; tourism and hospitality; and local food sectors.

The intention is to:
• Put businesses at the centre of the process;
• Help support businesses to grow and create employment opportunities for local young people;
• Encourage employment and skills development, including looking at ways to minimise the cost and administrative burden on small businesses.

The Community Partnership is therefore looking to contact interested businesses in the three sectors who want to be involved in upskilling their workforce; recruiting new trainees; and working together to support the development of their local economy.
