SNH re-launch constructed tracks best practice guidance

Scottish Natural Heritage has this week re-launched their excellent guidance document “Constructed Tracks in the Scottish Uplands”. This guidance should be used by anyone considering development of a track on private land and it can be viewed/downloaded here http://www.snh.gov.uk/publications-data-and-research/publications/search-the-catalogue/publication-detail/?id=513. The revisions update a number of sections within the guidance, not least the section on planning regulation. Scottish Land & Estates will be working with Scottish Government in the coming months to further promote this best practice approach.
