Magnificient 7 Social Media Campaign Linking Members with Fans Worldwide

If you haven’t taken part in Scottish Land & Estates’ Magnificent 7 campaign on twitter and Facebook yet, there is no time to lose - showcase your rural enterprise or landholding in a fun and exciting way now...

Supporting the Scottish Natural Heritage ‘Big 5’ campaign which highlights some of the beautiful species to be found on Scotland’s rural estates, Magnificent 7 forms part of the Year of Natural Scotland celebrations and invites social media users to view flowers and wildlife on country estates all over Scotland.   The first beauty to feature with great success and widespread interest with over 1000 Facebook ‘hits’ was the humble daffodil, albeit the flower made a late appearance this year due to the prolonged wintry conditions.  Hopetoun House, Mount Stuart and Blair Castle all provided fantastic photographs of their daffs and special offers or incentives to social media visitors.  Rhododendrons and bluebells from other members have followed since with massive interest generated and ‘likes’ and ‘re-tweets’ from across the globe.

Should you wish to take part, simply email Christine at Media House on This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
