Cabinet Secretary For Rural Affairs & Environment Will Launch 'Caingorms Nature' At Special Event This Weekend

 

A new partnership aimed at driving forward conservation projects in the Cairngorms National Park, to ensure it’s in good shape for future generations will be launched by Richard Lochhead MSP in Aviemore on Saturday 18 May at 10.30am.  
 
‘Cairngorms Nature’ and the Cairngorms Nature Action Plan 2013-2018 will be given the stamp of approval by the Cabinet Secretary who will be attending Celebrating Cairngorms Nature – a special event (running from 10am – 4pm) that aims to promote everything that is special about the Cairngorms National Park’s outstanding natural environment.
 
The Cairngorms Nature Action Plan 2013-2018 outlines the work that needs to be carried out in the next five years to ensure that the Cairngorms National Park remains the most important single area in the UK for nature conservation and builds on its international reputation as an outstanding area for nature and wildlife.
