EU public consultation on Firearms

 

The EU has opened a consultation asking whether more action is required at EU level to reduce the threat of firearms http://ec.europa.eu/yourvoice/ipm/forms/dispatch?form=ReduceFirearmsRisk
 
Shooting organisations in the EU and UK believe that effective legislation already exists at national level and no new central EU powers are needed. If members agree, they are recommended to click Option 1 in every question, and it is not necessary to fill in the optional commentary boxes. This will take less than five minutes to complete and members are encouraged to submit a response.
