Domestic Renewable Heat Incentive now scheduled for Spring 2014:

The introduction of the Domestic Renewable Heat Incentive Scheme has been pushed back again and is now scheduled for the spring of next year.  Details of how the scheme will work and tariff levels will be published in the summer.

To cover the gap, the government will extend the Renewable Heat Premium Payment (RHPP) scheme, which offers money off the cost of renewable heating kit such as biomass boilers, solar thermal panels and heat pumps, until March 2014.
The Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC) also intends to consult on increasing tariffs for biomass above more than 1MW capacity and ground source heat pumps under the non-domestic scheme.
