The Scottish Government has commissioned the Rural Development Company and associates to evaluate the SRDP Communications Plan and Scottish National Rural Network (SNRN). As part of this study RDC have asked us to send our members a link to a short on line survey on the SNRN and to encourage you to complete it. They are very keen to get as much feedback as possible from a broad cross-section of the rural community, both users and non-users. As the objective of this evaluation is to contribute to future improvements in the SNRN please complete it even if you are not a regular user of SNRN services. For more information on the SNRN please visit http://www.ruralgateway.org.uk
National Rural Networks are a required part of all EU Member States Rural Development Programmes, the UK NRN has four constituent networks including the SNRN. The SNRN currently comprises of an interactive web site, delivers a number of networking events and hosts an annual conference. The website provides information on a broad range of topics of relevance to Rural Scotland including an up to date news section, information on SRDP, funding and support, project examples and details on the Network's events. The events run by the NRN include themed workshops and visits to SRDP funded projects.
