No change to deer culling dates under General Authorisation

Scottish Land & Estates proposed that the close season for culling female deer on farm and woodland be extended beyond 31st August to limit the risk of dependent calves being left behind.  Following recent consultation, SNH decided not to change the dates, but would support further research into calf dependency.  Other parts of the General Authoristion will also remain unchanged.  To read the full consultation response…
