Help needed from residents in Ettrick and Yarrow

Work is being developed with Scottish Borders Council to develop an emergency action plan for the valleys which will cover e.g. long term power failure, being snowed in or cut off by flooding.

'Revitalising the Ettrick and Yarrow Valleys Project' are looking for about 20 people from each community - Ettrick, Ettrickbridge, Cappercleuch, Yarrow Feus and Yarrowford - who would be willing to help out in emergencies to do things like clear snow, emergency transport, visit the elderly etc.
