Securing Snaring Operator Identification Numbers in Grampian

Snaring Operators in Grampian, who have successfully completed a snaring training course, can apply to 8 police stations in Grampian for a unique Identification Number which must be attached to all snares set from 1st April 2013.

Applications for Snaring Operator Identification Numbers will be accepted at the following Police Stations in the Grampian police area:

High Street

Stonehaven Police Station (Not 24 Hours)

Stonehaven

Inverurie Police Station (Not 24 Hours)
Blackhill Road
Inverurie
AB51 3QD

Force Headquarters (Open 24 Hours)
Queen Street
Aberdeen
AB10 1ZA

Peterhead Police Station (Not 24 Hours)
Merchant Street
Peterhead
AB42 1BU

Banff Police Station (Not 24 Hours)
19 High Shore
Banff
AB45 1HN

Elgin Police Station (Open 24 Hours)

Rothes Police Office (Not 24 Hours)

Please Note:

Snare identification numbers WILL NOT be available at these Police Stations but will be sent to applicants at a later date.

Only Grampian Police Headquarters, Queen Street and Elgin Police Station are staffed 24hrs.

Prior to attending at the other named Police stations it is advisable to contact the Force Service Centre on 0845 600 5 700 to confirm that someone is available to receive your application information
