Stirling Local Development Plan: Publication of Proposed Plan

Stirling Council has approved the Proposed Local Development Plan at its meeting on 26 September 2012.  The Plan was published on 15 October 2012 and is available to view online at http://www.stirling.gov.uk/localdevplan.

This next stage in the Plan process signals a more formal period of consultation.  The period for making representations on the Proposed Plan and any of its supporting documents runs for 8 weeks.  All representations should be with the council by 5pm on 10th December 2012.

Representations must be made in writing, on the appropriate Representation Form available from local libraries, Stirling Council offices or available online at the above weblink.  Representations may be submitted online or by e-mail to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . Any representations made should state the name and address of the author and the document and matters to which they relate, along with any changes being requested.

Please note that although you may have made representations to the Draft proposed Plan in 2011, if you wish to continue this in relation to the Proposed Plan, you are required to submit a new representation as set out above.

Any unresolved representations to the proposed Plan will be sent to the Scottish Government Directorate for Planning and Environment Appeals for consideration through an Examination process.  This is likely to take place in Spring 2013, and you will be informed directly if your representation is going forward to Examination.
