Crime alert - Ayrshire

Members in Ayrshire are being urged to be extra vigilant following a rise in thefts from rural properties across Ayrshire.

The thefts have ranged from small hand tools to vehicles.  Therefore, always ensure outbuildings are safely locked with keys kept away from these buildings; remove valuable items from cars; be vigilant!

Should you be aware of any suspicious activity please do contact Graeme Gordon, police constable, at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it

Finally, if you haven't already signed up to Rural Watch Ayrshire, now is the time to do so.  Again, just send your details to Graeme and he will then keep you informed of what is happening in Ayrshire.
